Early Life of Sunny Kaushal
Sunny Kaushal was born on 28 September 1989 in a modest chawl in suburban Mumbai, Maharashtra, into a Punjabi family deeply rooted in the Indian film industry. He is the younger son of Sham Kaushal, a renowned action director in Bollywood, and Veena Kaushal, a homemaker. His elder brother is Vicky Kaushal, one of the leading actors in contemporary Hindi cinema.

Growing up in a working-class neighborhood, Sunny was exposed to the world of films early through his father's profession, though his initial academic interests lay elsewhere. He enrolled at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to pursue a career in finance. However, he soon realized his true calling was in the performing arts and made the bold decision to drop out of the CA program to chase his passion for acting.

Determined to make it on his own merit, Sunny began his journey in the entertainment industry by taking on small roles in theatre productions and skits, where he honed his craft and built a foundation for his future in film and television. These early stage experiences played a vital role in shaping his acting skills and preparing him for a career in front of the camera.
