Metro... In Dino (transl. Metro... These Days) is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film written and directed by Anurag Basu. Co-produced by T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions, the film serves as a spiritual successor to Basu’s critically acclaimed Life in a... Metro (2007). The narrative interweaves multiple emotional and relatable stories of modern-day couples navigating love, relationships, and urban life. The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Saswata Chatterjee.
Metro... In Dino was officially announced in December 2022. Filming began the same month and wrapped in February 2024, with principal photography taking place across major Indian cities—Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore.
The film ends with Kartika, Gautam, Ira, and their friends honoring Jaggi’s memory, choosing to celebrate his life and the love he stood for. |
