The film opens with the wedding ceremony of Gautam and Ira, former classmates from a university in France. Amid the celebrations, Jaggi—a drunken guest—causes a commotion and is caught along with his friends for gatecrashing the event.
Jaggi crosses the border illegally, determined to reach London, but is caught and brought back to the embassy where Gautam works. There, Jaggi explains that he must make it to London before Monday to prove his love—an act inspired by a speech Gautam gave during a reception.
The story then flashes back to three months earlier.
Jaggi, a passionate hockey player, meets Kartika, a competitive swimmer. Though their first encounter is tense, they gradually grow close as they spend more time together. However, Jaggi is devastated to learn that Kartika is engaged. She gives him a challenge: if he truly loves her, he should meet her in London in three months. If he does, she promises to call off the wedding.
Driven by love, Jaggi illegally enters the UK and faces numerous obstacles on his journey to find Kartika. Tragically, after falling from a plane, Jaggi dies—leaving Kartika heartbroken.
The film ends with Kartika, Gautam, Ira, and their friends honoring Jaggi’s memory, choosing to celebrate his life and the love he stood for. |
